Staurlite
Cross Rock, or also know as Staurolite, is a mineral that twins and often forms cross like shapes, some perfectly shaped, many found are not. Staurolite’s are found in only certain parts of the US; Blanchard Dam MN being one of them.
This is a custom designed Cross- Rock, inspired by the natural, more perfeclyt shaped ones; found by the Blanchard Dam. It was originally created in the 1970’s by Diamond Dave Schepers, by making a mold of a natural Staurolite from a lady he knew that “hunted” for them by Blanchard Dam. Since then it has been modified over the years. The last was was created by a CAD rendering in 2014. This cross can be made in sterling silver, yellow gold, white gold and is approximately 3/4” tall and 1/2” wide.
